The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ When the inevitable event takes place, 1 There is, at its occurrence, no denial. 2 It will bring low (some); (and others) it will exalt; 3 When the earth is shaken violently, 4 And the mountains will be crushed, blown to bits. 5 So that they will become floating dust particles. 6 And you will become divided into three categories. 7 So those on the right how (fortunate) are those on the right! 8 And the People on the Left: and how miserable will be the People on the Left! 9 And those foremost [(in Islamic Faith of Monotheism and in performing righteous deeds) in the life of this world on the very first call for to embrace Islam,] will be foremost (in Paradise). 10 They shall be the nearest to God. 11 In the gardens of bliss. 12 A throng of the ancients, 13 And a few from the later generations. 14 On studded thrones. 15 Reclining thereon facing each other. 16 Immortal youths will serve them 17 Cups and decanters, beakers full of sparkling wine, 18 No after-ache will they receive therefrom, nor will they suffer intoxication: 19 And fruit; that they may choose. 20 And meat of birds that they may wish. 21 And [with them will be their] companions pure, most beautiful of eye, 22 Like unto Pearls well-guarded. 23 A recompense for that which they have been working. 24 There they shall hear no idle talk, no cause of sin, 25 except each other's greetings of, "Peace be with you". 26 As for the People on the Right, how fortunate shall be the people on the Right! 27 Among thorn-less lote-trees. 28 And clustered plantains, 29 In shade long-extended, 30 By water flowing constantly, 31 And fruit in plenty, 32 Neither limited [to season] nor forbidden, 33 And raised couches; 34 and the noble maidens that We have created 35 And made them virgin - pure (and undefiled), - 36 The beloved of their husbands, of one age. 37 For the fellows on the right hand. 38

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
