And the heaven, We raised it high with power, and most surely We are the makers of things ample. 47 And the earth -- We spread it forth; O excellent Smoothers! 48 And of everything We have created pairs, that you may remember (the Grace of Allah). 49 Hasten ye then (at once) to Allah: I am from Him a Warner to you, clear and open! 50 “And do not appoint other deities along with Allah; indeed I am from Him, a clear Herald of Warning towards you.” 51 Thus has it been (in the past): never did a Messenger come to the nations that preceded them but they said: “(He is) a sorcerer, or a mad-man.” 52 Have they arrived at a common understanding concerning this? No; but they are a people given to transgression. 53 so ignore them, you are not to blame, 54 But go on reminding them, as reminding benefits the believers. 55 And I have not created the jinn and mankind but that they should worship Me. 56 I seek not any provision from them, nor I desire that they should feed Me. 57 for, verily, God Himself is the Provider of all sustenance, the Lord of all might, the Eternal! 58 Those who do wrong will indeed come to the same end as their fellows (of old). So let them not ask Me to hasten (the punishment). 59 Woe, then, to the Unbelievers, on account of that Day of theirs which they have been promised! 60
