The Sun (Al-Shams)
15 verses, revealed in Mecca after Destiny (Al-Qadr) before The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By oath of the sun and its light 1 And by the moon as it follows it (the sun); 2 And by oath of the day when it reveals it 3 And the night when it enshroudeth him, 4 The heavens and its architecture, 5 and by the earth and by Him Who stretched it out; 6 and by the soul and that (Power) which designed it 7 And inspired it (with conscience of) what is wrong for it and (what is) right for it. 8 He is indeed successful who causeth it to grow, 9 and those who corrupt their souls will certainly be deprived (of happiness). 10 The Thamud (people) rejected (their prophet) through their inordinate wrong-doing, 11 when the most wicked man among them rose up. 12 although God's apostle had told them, "It is a she-camel belonging to God, so let her drink [and do her no harm]!" 13 But they called him a liar and slaughtered her, therefore their Lord crushed them for their sin and levelled them (with the ground). 14 And for Him is no fear of its consequences. 15

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
