The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ Exalt the Name of your Lord, the Highest, 1 Who created and proportioned 2 And the One Who kept proper measure and then guided. 3 who brought forth the pasturage 4 And then makes it dark stubble. 5 We shall make you recite so that you will not forget, 6 unless God wills it to be otherwise. He knows all that is made public and all that remains hidden. 7 We shall ease you to follow the way of Ease. 8 Wherefore admonish thou; admonition hath surely profited, 9 He who fears [God] will heed the reminder, 10 but aloof from it will remain that most hapless wretch 11 who will enter the Great Fire, 12 Wherein he will neither die (to be in rest) nor live (a good living). 13 Prosperous is he who has cleansed himself, 14 And mentions the name of his Lord and prays. 15 But ye prefer the life of this world, 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 This, indeed, was in the ancient Scrolls, 18 Writs of Ibrahim and Musa. 19
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
