▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ No! I swear by the fallings of the stars 75 And most surely it is a very great oath if you only knew; 76 That this is indeed a qur'an Most Honourable, 77 in a well-guarded preserved Book, 78 Only they can reach it who are clean (of mind). 79 a sending down from the Lord of all Being. 80 Is it this Statement that ye scorn, 81 and do you make it your living to cry lies? 82 Then why, when the soul at death reaches the throat 83 And ye are then looking on. 84 and while We are closer to him than you, although you see [Us] not: 85 why then, if you are not revived, 86 Do ye not force it back, if ye are truthful? 87 Then, if he (the dying person) be of the Muqarrabun (those brought near to Allah), 88 there shall be calmness and ease, a Garden of Delight. 89 And if he is of those on the right, – 90 he will be greeted with, "Peace be to you," by those on the Right. 91 And if he is one of those who give the lie (to this Message) and go astray, 92 For him is Entertainment with Boiling Water. 93 And a hurling into the blazing fire. 94 Surely this is the truth of certainty. 95 Wherefore hallow thou the name of thy Lord, the Mighty! 96
