BUT NAY! I call to witness all that you can see, 38 And that which you do not see. 39 that this is the speech of a noble Messenger. 40 It is not the word of a poet but only a few of you have faith, 41 Nor the word of a soothsayer; little is it that you mind. 42 It is a revelation from the Lord of the Universe. 43 And if he had invented false sayings concerning Us, 44 We would have seized him by the right hand, 45 and would indeed have cut his life-vein. 46 And not one of you would have withheld us from punishing him. 47 Surely it is a Good Counsel for the God-fearing. 48 And most surely We know that some of you are rejecters. 49 And indeed, it will be [a cause of] regret upon the disbelievers. 50 And lo! it is absolute truth. 51 So exalt the name of your Lord, the Most Great. 52
