And Nuh did certainly call upon Us, and most excellent answerer of prayer are We. 75 And We saved him and his family from the great affliction. 76 and caused his offspring to endure [on earth]; 77 And We let it remain upon him in the latter: 78 "Peace and salutation to Noah among the nations!" 79 Thus do We reward the righteous ones. 80 He was one of Our believing servants. 81 Then We did drown the others. 82 ۞ And Abraham indeed was of his inducement, 83 When he came unto his Lord with a whole heart; 84 [And] when he said to his father and his people, "What do you worship? 85 Is it false deities that you want to serve rather than Allah? 86 “So what do you assume regarding the Lord Of The Creation?” (That He will not punish you?) 87 He cast a glance at the stars 88 Then said: Lo! I feel sick! 89 So turning their backs, they went away from him. 90 Then he turned to their gods and said, "Do you not eat? 91 What is the matter with you, why do you not speak?” 92 Then he turned upon them, striking them with his right hand, 93 whereupon people came to him running. 94 He said: 'Do you worship what you, yourselves have carved 95 when it is God who has created you and all your handiwork?" 96 They spoke among themselves: “Build him a pyre and then throw him into the furnace.” 97 So they contrived a plot against him, but We made them abject. 98 (Abraham) said, "I will go to my Lord who will guide me". 99 Lord, grant me a righteous son." 100 Then We gave him the good tidings of a prudent boy; 101 And when he reached with him [the age of] exertion, he said, "O my son, indeed I have seen in a dream that I [must] sacrifice you, so see what you think." He said, "O my father, do as you are commanded. You will find me, if Allah wills, of the steadfast." 102 So when they both submitted and he threw him down upon his forehead, 103 And We called out to him saying: O Ibrahim! 104 "Thou hast already fulfilled the vision!" - thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 105 for, behold, all this was indeed a trial, clear in itself. 106 And We ransomed him with a tremendous sacrifice, 107 and left him thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among later generations: 108 Peace be upon Abraham. 109 That is how We reward those who do good. 110 he was among Our believing servants. 111 And We gave him the glad tidings of Ishaque (Isaac) a Prophet from the righteous. 112 We had blessed him and Isaac. Some of their offspring were righteous and others were openly unjust to themselves. 113
