Say, [Prophet], "I am only a warner. There is no god but God, the One, the All-Powerful, 65 the Sustainer of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, the Almighty, the All-Forgiving!" 66 Say thou: it is a tiding mighty. 67 Whence ye turn away! 68 I had no knowledge of the Exalted Assembly when they argued [against the creation of man]: 69 It has not been revealed to me except that I am a clear warner." 70 (Remember) when your Lord said to the angels: "Truly, I am going to create man from clay". 71 “So when I have perfected him and breathed into him a spirit from Myself, (you all) fall down before him in prostration.” 72 So all the angels prostrated themselves 73 Except Iblis; he was proud and was, from the beginning, a disbeliever. 74 (Allah) said: "O Iblis (Satan)! What prevents you from prostrating yourself to one whom I have created with Both My Hands. Are you too proud (to fall prostrate to Adam) or are you one of the high exalted?" 75 He said: I am better than he: me Thou hast created of fire, and him Thou hast created of clay. 76 [Allah] said, "Then get out of Paradise, for indeed, you are expelled. 77 My curse will remain upon you till the Day of Judgement!" 78 Said [Iblis]: "Then, O my Sustainer, grant me a respite till the Day when all shall be raised from the dead!" 79 (Allah) said: "Respite then is granted thee- 80 Until the day of the time appointed. 81 (Iblis) said: "Then, by Thy power, I will put them all in the wrong, 82 except those of Your servants, the chosen ones from amongst them.” 83 He said: The truth then is and the truth do I speak: 84 "That I will certainly fill Hell with thee and those that follow thee,- every one." 85 SAY [O Prophet]: "No reward whatever do I ask of you for this [message]; and I am not one of those who claim to be what they are not. 86 “It is not but an advice for the entire world.” 87 “And you will come to know of its tidings, after a while.” 88
