The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

By the racers, panting, 1 sparks of fire striking, 2 And the chargers at dawn, 3 Then, therewith, with their trail of dust, 4 and penetrate deep into a host. 5 The human being is certainly ungrateful to his Lord. 6 and to this, behold, he [himself] bears witness indeed: 7 And verily in the love of wealth he is vehement, 8 ۞ Does he not know,- when that which is in the graves is scattered abroad 9 and all that is in the hearts is made public, 10 indeed, on that Day their Lord will be aware of them! 11
