The people of Noah cried lies to the Envoys 105 When their brother Nuh (Noah) said to them: "Will you not fear Allah and obey Him? 106 “I am indeed a trustworthy Noble Messenger of Allah to you.” 107 So keep your duty to Allah, and obey me. 108 I ask of you no recompense for it, for my only reward is with the Lord of the Universe, 109 so fear God and obey me." 110 ۞ They said, "Should we believe in you when no one has followed you except the lowest ones". 111 He said, "And what is my knowledge of what they used to do? 112 "Their account is only with my Lord, if you could (but) know. 113 And I am not going to drive away the believers; 114 'I am naught but a plain warner.' 115 They said, "If you do not desist, O Noah, you will surely be of those who are stoned." 116 He said: "O my Lord! truly my people have rejected me. 117 therefore, judge decisively between me and them; and save me and the believers who are with me." 118 And We saved him and those with him in the laden ship. 119 And drowned the rest of them. 120 In this [story,] behold, there is a message [unto men,] even though most of them will not believe [in it]. 121 Surely thy Lord, He is the All-mighty, the All-compassionate. 122
