Hast thou considered him who turns his back 33 And gives a little and (then) withholds. 34 Does he [claim to] have knowledge of something that is beyond the reach of human perception, so that he can see [it clearly]? 35 Has he not heard what is contained in the Book of Moses, 36 And of Ibrahim who faithfully fulfilled? 37 that no bearer of burdens shall be made to bear another's burden; 38 And that man can have nothing but what he does (good or bad). 39 And that his deeds will be seen, 40 and that he shall then be fully recompensed, 41 that all things in the end shall return to God; 42 and that it is He who makes to laugh, and that makes to weep, 43 and that He it is Who causes death and grants life, 44 And that it is He Who has created the two pairs, male and female? 45 From the small seed when it is adapted 46 And that He hath ordained the second bringing forth; 47 and that it is He alone who frees from want and causes to possess; 48 And that He is the Lord of the Sirius; 49 And that He destroyed the first [people of] 'Aad 50 And Samood, so He spared not 51 And also the people of Nuh aforetime. Verily they were even greater wrong-doers and more contumacious. 52 And He brought perdition upon the subverted cities 53 So that (ruins unknown) have covered them up. 54 So, which of your Lord's bounties will you doubt?” 55 He (Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) is a Herald of Warning, like the former Heralds of Warning. 56 The approaching event has come near. 57 Of it, [from those] besides Allah, there is no remover. 58 Do you then wonder at this announcement? 59 Will you laugh at it rather than weep? 60 while you make merry? 61 So prostrate yourselves before Allah and worship. ۩ 62
