Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the winds sent forth with beneficence. 1 By the raging hurricanes, 2 And those that revive by quickening, 3 Then by those that clearly differentiate the right and wrong. 4 and by those who reveal revelations (to the prophets) 5 Whether of Justification or of Warning;- 6 Verily that which ye are promised is about to befall. 7 So when stars are effaced. 8 and when the sky is rent asunder 9 when the mountains shall be scattered 10 and when the Messengers' time is set, 11 For what day is the time appointed? 12 Upon the Day of Decision! 13 How will you comprehend what the Day of Judgement is? 14 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth. 15 Did We not destroy the earlier people? 16 Thereafter We shall cause to follow them the latter ones. 17 Thus do We deal with the sinful ones. 18 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 19 Did We not create you from an abject fluid? 20 Then We placed it in a place of safety (womb), 21 for an appointed term? 22 And We determined [it], and excellent [are We] to determine. 23 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 24 Did We not make the earth a storehouse? 25 Both for the living and the dead, 26 Have We not placed high mountains upon it and filled you with sweet water? 27 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth! 28 [They will be told], "Proceed to that which you used to deny. 29 Depart to a triple-massing shadow 30 “Which neither gives shade, nor saves from the flame.” 31 Surely it sends up sparks like palaces, 32 As if they were yellowish [black] camels. 33 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 34 This is a day wherein they speak not, 35 And permission shall not be given to them so that they should offer excuses. 36 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 37 that Day of Distinction [between the true and the false, when they will be told]: "We have brought you together with those [sinners] of olden times; 38 So if you have a plan, then plan against Me. 39 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 40
