Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

And indeed We created towers in the skies, and beautified it for the beholders. 16 And We have guarded it from every Satan damned. 17 But any that gains a hearing by stealth, is pursued by a flaming fire, bright (to see). 18 We have spread out the earth, and set upon it firm mountains and caused everything to grow in due proportion. 19 and there appointed for you is a livelihood, and for those you do not provide. 20 With Us is the source of everything and We do not send it down except in a known quantity. 21 We send rain-impregnated winds, and water from the sky which you drink, but you are not the keepers of its store. 22 And indeed it is We Who give life and it is We Who cause death, and We are the Inheritors. 23 And verily We know the eager among you and verily We know the laggards. 24 and it is your Lord who will gather them. He is Wise, Knowing. 25
