Say: "I am only a warner, and there is no other god but God, the one, the omnipotent, 65 "The Lord of the heavens and the earth, and all between,- Exalted in Might, able to enforce His Will, forgiving again and again." 66 Say: It is a message of importance, 67 "From which you turn away! 68 I have no knowledge of the dispute among the angels (concerning their attitude towards Adam). 69 it has only been revealed to me that I am a plain warner." 70 [For,] lo, thy Sustainer said unto the angels: "Behold, I am about to create a human being out of clay; 71 And when I have made him and have breathed into him of My spirit. Fall down in homage before him." 72 So the angels prostrated themselves, all of them: 73 Except Iblees; he was arrogant and became among the disbelievers. 74 Said He, 'Iblis, what prevented thee to bow thyself before that I created with My own hands? Hast thou waxed proud, or art thou of the lofty ones?' 75 Said he, 'I am better than he; Thou createdst me of fire, and him Thou createdst of clay.' 76 (Allah) said: "Then get out from here, for verily, you are outcast. 77 'My curse shall rest on you until the Day of Recompense' 78 He said: My Lord! Reprieve me till the day when they are raised. 79 [Allah] said, "So indeed, you are of those reprieved 80 "Till the Day of the time appointed." 81 He (satan) said: 'I swear by Your Might, that I will seduce all of them 82 [all] save such of them as are truly Thy servants!" 83 Said He, 'This is the truth, and the truth I say; 84 “That I will fill hell with you and with those among them who follow you, all together.” 85 Say, "I do not ask you for any recompense for this, nor am I a man of false pretentions: 86 It is naught but an admonition unto the worlds. 87 And you will surely know [the truth of] its information after a time." 88
