The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who created all things and fashioned them in good proportion; 2 and who determines the nature [of all that exists,] and thereupon guides it [towards its fulfilment,] 3 And who brings out the pasture 4 Then reduces them to rusty rubbish. 5 We shall make you recite (the Qur'an) so that you will not forget it, 6 save what God wills; surely He knows what is spoken aloud and what is hidden. 7 And We shall make easy unto thee the easy way. 8 Therefor remind (men), for of use is the reminder. 9 Those who have fear of God will benefit 10 but the most wretched shall avoid it, 11 He who will be flung to the great Fire 12 Wherein he shall neither die nor live, 13 He indeed shall be successful who purifies himself, 14 and mentions the Name of his Lord, and prays. 15 Nay, but you prefer the present life; 16 even though the life hereafter will be better and will last forever. 17 Indeed this is in the former scriptures. 18 The Scriptures of Ibrahim (Abraham) and Musa (Moses). 19
