And We did certainly confer favor upon Moses and Aaron. 114 And We delivered them and their people from (their) Great Calamity; 115 And We helped them, so that they were the victors; 116 and We gave them the Clear Book, 117 And We guided them both on the right way. 118 and We left them thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among later generations: 119 "Peace and salutation to Moses and Aaron!" 120 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 121 Indeed they are two of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 122 Verily Elias is one of the apostles. 123 He asked his people: 'Do you not fear (Allah)? 124 Do you call upon Baal and forsake the Best of the Creators? 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers?" 126 But they cried him lies; so they will be among the arraigned, 127 except the sincere worshipers of Allah. 128 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon him in the latter (generations), 129 Peace be with the followers of Elias. 130 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 131 Indeed, he was of Our believing servants. 132 Lot was also one of the messengers. 133 [So mention] when We saved him and his family, all, 134 Except an old woman who was one of those who stayed behind. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 Verily, you pass by them in the morning. 137 And at night. Will ye not therefore reflect? 138
