(Moses) said: My Lord! relieve my mind 25 And make my affair easy to me, 26 Unloose the knot upon my tongue, 27 so that they might fully understand my speech, 28 And appoint for me a minister from my family - 29 Aaron, my brother. 30 To strengthen me 31 And let him share my task 32 so that [together] we might abundantly extol Thy limitless glory 33 And remember You much. 34 Surely You know us well." 35 He said: Thou art granted thy request, O Moses. 36 It is the second time that We have bestowed upon you Our favor. 37 When we inspired in thy mother that which is inspired, 38 Saying: Throw him into the ark, and throw it into the river, then the river shall throw it on to the bank, and there an enemy to Me and an enemy to him shall take him. And I endued thee with love from Me that thou mightest be trained according to My will, 39 Recall when your sister walked along and said, "Shall I guide you to one who will take care of him?" Thus We returned you to your mother, so that her eyes might be cooled and that she might not grieve. And you killed a man and We delivered you from sorrow. We tested you with various trials. You stayed for a number of years among the people of Midian, then you came upto the standard, Moses. 40 And I formed thee for Myself. 41 Go you and your brother with My communications and be not remiss in remembering Me; 42 Go, both of you to Pharaoh, for he has transgressed all bounds. 43 and speak to him gently, perhaps he may take heed or fear (Allah)." 44 They (Moses and Aaron) said: "Our Lord! We fear lest he hasten with insolence against us, or lest he transgress all bounds." 45 He said; fear not; verily I shall be with you twain: I shall hear and see. 46 “Therefore go to him and say, ‘We are the sent ones of your Lord, therefore let the Descendants of Israel go with us, and do not trouble them; we have indeed brought to you a sign from your Lord; and peace be upon him who follows the guidance.’ 47 it has been revealed to us that punishment shall overtake him who rejects it and turns away!'" 48 Pharaoh said, 'Who is your Lord, Moses?' 49 He said: Our Lord is He Who gave to everything its creation, then guided it (to its goal). 50 (The Pharaoh) said: "And what about the former generations?" 51 He said: The knowledge thereof is with my Lord in a book, my Lord errs not, nor does He forget; 52 He who appointed the earth to be a cradle for you, and therein threaded roads for you, and sent down water out of heaven, and therewith We have brought forth divers kinds of plants. 53 Eat and pasture your cattle: verily therein are signs for men of sagacity. 54
