۞ We had earlier given Abraham true direction, for We knew him well. 51 He said to his father and to his nation: 'What, are these the statues to which you cling' 52 They replied: 'We found our fathers worshipping them' 53 He said: assuredly ye, ye and your fathers, have been in error manifest. 54 They said, "Have you brought us the truth or are you jesting?" 55 He said: Nay! your Lord is the Lord of the heavens and the earth, Who brought them into existence, and I am of those who bear witness to this: 56 "And by Allah, I shall plot a plan (to destroy) your idols after you have gone away and turned your backs." 57 He shattered them all, except the biggest among them, that perhaps they may question it. 58 They said, "Who has done this to our gods? He must indeed be some man of impiety!" 59 'We have heard a young man called Abraham mention them' they replied. 60 Said they: Then bring him before the eyes of the people, perhaps they may bear witness. 61 They said: Is it thou who hast done this to our gods, O Abraham? 62 'No' he replied. 'It was their great one amongst them that did it. Ask them, if they are able to speak' 63 So they turned to themselves and said: "Verily, you are the Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doers)." 64 Thereafter they were made to turn over upon their heads, saying, assuredly thou knowest that they speak not. 65 He said, "Then do you worship instead of Allah that which does not benefit you at all or harm you? 66 Woe to you for what you worship instead of God. Have you no understanding?" 67 They said, 'Burn him, and help your gods, if you would do aught.' 68 We said to the fire, "Be cool and peaceful (with Abraham)". 69 They wished to entrap him, but We made them greater losers. 70 And We rescued him and Lut towards the land which We have blessed for the entire world. 71 And We bestowed upon him Ishaque (Isaac), and (a grandson) Ya'qub (Jacob). Each one We made righteous. 72 and appointed them to be leaders guiding by Our command, and We revealed to them the doing of good deeds, and to perform the prayer, and to pay the alms, and Us they served. 73 And to Lot We gave judgement and knowledge, and We saved him from the city that was committing wicked deeds. Indeed, they were a people of evil, defiantly disobedient. 74 whereas him We admitted unto Our grace: for, behold, he was among the righteous. 75

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
