Al-Duhaa

The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

By the Glorious Morning Light, 1 And by oath of the night when it covers, 2 Your Lord has not forsaken you nor does He dislike you! 3 And the Hereafter is indeed better unto thee than the life present. 4 And your Lord is going to give you, and you will be satisfied. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and then gave you shelter? 6 Did He not find you perplexed, and show you the way? 7 Did He not find you poor and suffice you? 8 Therefore do not treat the orphan with harshness, 9 Therefor the beggar drive not away, 10 And proclaim the Grace of your Lord (i.e. the Prophethood and all other Graces). 11

God the Almighty always says the truth.
