The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ WHEN THAT which must come to pass [at last] comes to pass, 1 There is no belying its coming to pass-- 2 It will bring down [some] and raise up [others]. 3 When the earth is shaken with a shock 4 And the mountains will be crushed, blown to bits. 5 So that they become dust seattered. 6 and you shall be three bands -- 7 Then (there will be) the Companions of the Right Hand;- What will be the Companions of the Right Hand? 8 And there shall be such as will have lost themselves in evil: oh, how [unhappy] will be they who have lost themselves in evil! 9 And those foremost [(in Islamic Faith of Monotheism and in performing righteous deeds) in the life of this world on the very first call for to embrace Islam,] will be foremost (in Paradise). 10 These are they who are drawn nigh (to Allah), 11 In gardens of delight; 12 A large group from the earlier generations. 13 and a lesser number from the later generations. 14 They (will be seated) on gold-encrusted couches, 15 Reclining therein face to face. 16 There wait on them immortal youths 17 With goblets and ewers and a cup of pure drink; 18 neither causing headaches, nor intoxication; 19 And with fruit from that which they choose. 20 Bird meats that they relish, 21 And (there will be) Companions with beautiful, big, and lustrous eyes,- 22 The likes unto pearls hidden. 23 As recompense for all they had done. 24 Therein they shall hear no idle talk, no cause of sin, 25 (Naught) but the saying: Peace, (and again) Peace. 26 The companions of the right - what are the companions of the right? 27 [They will be] among lote trees with thorns removed 28 And plantains laden with fruit. 29 and extended shade, 30 By water flowing constantly, 31 And fruit in plenty, 32 Whose season is not limited, nor (supply) forbidden, 33 And raised couches; 34 Perfectly We formed them, perfect, 35 Then We have made them virgins, 36 Loving, of equal age. 37 For the Companions of the Right Hand. 38

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
