The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
When the sun is folded up, 1 And when the stars fall, dispersing, 2 When the mountains vanish (like a mirage); 3 when the pregnant camels shall be neglected, 4 When the wild beasts are herded together (in the human habitations); 5 And when the seas are filled with flame 6 And when souls are reunited, 7 And when the girl-child that was buried alive is asked 8 For what crime she was killed; 9 When the ledgers are laid open, 10 And when the sky is stripped away 11 When Hell is set ablaze, 12 And when the Garden shall be brought nigh, 13 then shall a soul know what it has produced. 14 So I swear by the retreating stars - 15 Moving swiftly and hiding themselves, 16 And the close of night, 17 And by the dawn when it breathes 18 that the Quran is the word of the honorable angelic, mighty Messenger 19 endowed with power and held in honour by the Lord of the Throne -- 20 obeyed, moreover trusty. 21 (O people of Makkah), your companion is not mad; 22 He certainly saw him (Gabriel) high up on the horizon in his original form 23 he is not niggardly of the Unseen. 24 This is not the utterance of an accursed devil. 25 Whither then go ye? 26 This is nothing but a Reminder to the worlds, 27 Unto whomsoever of you willeth to walk straight. 28 but will you shall not, unless God wills, the Lord of all Being. 29

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
