The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ When the great event comes to pass, 1 no soul will deny its coming. 2 (Many) will it bring low; (many) will it exalt; 3 When the earth will be shaken with a terrible shake. 4 The mountains bruised and crushed, 5 So that they become a scattered dust, 6 And you will become divided into three categories. 7 Companions of the Right, what are the Companions of the Right? 8 And (then) those on the left hand; what of those on the left hand? 9 And the Outstrippers, the Outstrippers 10 Those are the ones brought near [to Allah] 11 in the Gardens of Delight, 12 A [large] company of the former peoples 13 And a few from the latter. 14 On thrones decorated, 15 Reclining face to face. 16 Immortal youths will wait upon them 17 Cups and decanters, beakers full of sparkling wine, 18 Unheady, uninebriating; 19 and with fruit of any kind that they may choose, 20 And the meat of fowl, from whatever they desire. 21 and wide-eyed houris 22 like hidden pearls, 23 a recompense for that they laboured. 24 There they shall hear no idle talk, no cause of sin, 25 but only the tiding of inner soundness and peace. 26 The Companions of the Right 27 (They will be) among Lote-trees without thorns, 28 Among Talh (banana-trees) with fruits piled one above another, 29 And in everlasting shade. 30 and flowing water 31 And fruit in plenty, 32 never-ending and unrestricted, 33 And raised couches; 34 We have indeed developed these women with an excellent development. 35 And made them virgins. 36 Loving (their husbands only), equal in age. 37 For those on the right hand; 38

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
