The Night (Al-Layl)
21 verses, revealed in Mecca after The All High (Al-A'alaa) before Dawn (Al-Fajr)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the night as it veils [the earth] in darkness, 1 and by the day as it appears radiantly, 2 and by Him Who created the male and the female: 3 Verily your endeavour is diverse. 4 Then as for him who giveths and feareth Him. 5 and believes in the truth of what is right, 6 So We will very soon provide him ease. 7 But he who does not give and is unconcerned, 8 And disbelieveth in goodness; 9 We will facilitate for him the difficult end. 10 And his riches will not avail him when he falls headlong (into the Abyss). 11 Verify on us is the guidance 12 and, behold, Ours is [the dominion over] the life to come as well as [over] this earlier part [of your life]: 13 Therefore do I warn you of a Fire blazing fiercely; 14 where none shall burn except the most wicked, 15 Who denied (the truth) and turned away. 16 Far removed from it will be the righteous 17 the Godfearing who spends his wealth to purify himself; 18 And no one has with him any boon for which he should be rewarded, 19 except the pleasure of their Lord, the Most High 20 And he shall soon be well-pleased. 21
God the Almighty always says the truth.

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
