The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
When the sun is covered, 1 when the stars shall scatter away, 2 And when the mountains are removed 3 when the pregnant camels are neglected, 4 And when the wild beasts are gathered 5 And when the seas rise, 6 souls are reunited with their bodies, 7 when the buried infant shall be asked 8 For what crime she was killed; 9 And when the Writs shall be lain open, 10 And when the sky is torn away, 11 and when Hell is set ablaze, 12 when Paradise shall be brought nigh, 13 Every soul shall (then) know what it has prepared. 14 I swear by the receding stars. 15 orbiting, disappearing; 16 And by the night when it departeth, 17 and the morning when it extends, 18 it is indeed the word of an Honorable Messenger, 19 Owner of strength, of established dignity with the Lord of the Throne. 20 Obeyed there [in the heavens] and trustworthy. 21 And your companion is not gone mad. 22 He had surely seen Him on the clear horizon. 23 He is not avid of the Unseen. 24 And it (the Quran) is not the word of the outcast Shaitan (Satan). 25 Whither, then, will you go? 26 It is not except a reminder to the worlds 27 So let those who want, choose the right guidance 28 but will you shall not, unless God wills, the Lord of all Being. 29
True are the words of God the Almighty.
End of Surah: The Rolling (Al-Takweer). Sent down in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
