BUT FOR THOSE who of their Sustainer's Presence stand in fear, two gardens [of paradise are readied] 46 How many favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? -- 47 With spreading branches; 48 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?- 49 In which, will be two fountains running. 50 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 51 In them there are pairs of each kind of fruit. 52 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 53 Reclining on carpets whereof the linings will be of brocade; and the fruit of the two Gardens shall be near at hand. 54 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 55 In them maidens with averted glances, undeflowered by man or by jinn before them, -- 56 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 57 As though rubies and pearls. 58 Which of the favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? 59 Is there any Reward for Good - other than Good? 60 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 61 And besides these two other gardens -- 62 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain beli? 63 Densely covered with foliage, appearing dark. 64 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 65 In both of them are two springs, spouting. 66 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 67 In them are fruits, palm trees and pomegranates. 68 How many favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? -- 69 Therein will be damsels agreeable and beauteous. 70 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 71 Companions restrained (as to their glances), in (goodly) pavilions;- 72 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 73 untouched by jinn or mankind before. 74 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 75 Reclining on green Cushions and rich Carpets of beauty. 76 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 77 Blessed is the name of your Lord, Owner of Majesty and Honor. 78
