Al-Hijjr 6 of 6
And the dwellers of Al Hijr also belied the Messengers. 80 And We brought Our signs unto them, yet they were averting themselves therefrom. 81 They carved out dwellings in the mountains, and lived in security -- 82 An explosion struck them in the morning. 83 And all that which they used to earn availed them not. 84 AND [remember:] We have not created the heavens and the earth and all that is between them without [an inner] truth; but, behold, the Hour [when this will become clear to all] is indeed yet to come. Hence, forgive [men's failings] with fair forbearance: 85 Your Lord is the Creator, the Knower. 86 And certainly We have given you seven of the oft-repeated (verses) and the grand Quran. 87 Do not strain your eyes towards the worldly benefits We have bestowed on some of them, nor grieve on their account. Lower your wing of mercy for the believers 88 And say thou: verily I! I am a plain warner. 89 As We have sent down on the dividers, (Quraish pagans or Jews and Christians). 90 who have broken the Koran into fragments. 91 By your Lord We shall question them one and all 92 concerning what they have been doing. 93 Proclaim openly what you are commanded, and avoid the polytheists. 94 For sufficient are We unto thee against those who scoff,- 95 Who place other gods besides God. They will come to know soon. 96 Indeed, We know your chest is straitened by that they say. 97 Exalt with the praise of your Lord and be one of those who prostrate. 98 And worship thy Lord until there cometh unto thee the certainty. 99
True are the words of God the Almighty.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
