Have you seen him who turns his back, 33 And gave little, and then stopped? 34 Has he the knowledge of the unseen so that he can see? 35 Hath he not been told of that which is in the writs of Musa. 36 And [of] Abraham, who fulfilled [his obligations] - 37 Certainly no one will bear the responsibility of the sins of another, 38 That man can have nothing but what he strives for; 39 and that his work is surely seen 40 And afterward he will be repaid for it with fullest payment; 41 And that to your Lord (Allah) is the End (Return of everything). 42 It is He who causes laughter and weeping. 43 and that it is He who causes to die, and causes to live 44 and that He Himself created the two sexes: male and female, 45 from a discharged living germ 46 and that He will bring about the Second Creation; 47 And that it is He Who enricheth and preserveth property. 48 It is He who is the Lord of Sirius. 49 And that He destroyed the former 'A-ad. 50 And Thamud - and He did not spare [them] - 51 And the people of Noah before. Indeed, it was they who were [even] more unjust and oppressing. 52 And He destroyed the overthrown cities [of Sodom to which Prophet Lout (Lot) was sent]. 53 So that they were covered over by what they were covered over. 54 So which then of your Lord's favors do you dispute? 55 This is a warner of the warners of old. 56 The near event draws nigh. 57 apart from God none can disclose it. 58 Do ye then wonder at this recital? 59 and do you laugh, and do you not weep, 60 While you are indulging in varieties. 61 Prostrate yourselves before Allah, and serve Him. ۩ 62
