The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
By oath of the late morning, 1 By the night when it darkeneth, 2 your Lord has not forsaken you (Prophet Muhammad), nor does He hate you. 3 And surely what comes after is better for you than that which has gone before. 4 Your Lord will soon grant you sufficient favors to please you. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and then gave you shelter? 6 Did He not find you a wanderer so He guided you? 7 Did He not find you in want, and make you free from want? 8 Therefore do not oppress the orphan. 9 and him that seeks [thy] help shalt thou never chide, 10 And proclaim the Grace of your Lord (i.e. the Prophethood and all other Graces). 11
