۞ AND [there came a time when] We inspired Moses thus: "Go forth with My servants by night: for, behold, you will be pursued!" 52 Then Pharaoh sent among the cities gatherers 53 Most surely these are a small company; 54 they have enraged us, 55 seeing that we are, verily, a nation united, fully prepared against danger 56 Thus did We drive them out of their gardens and springs 57 And treasures and honorable station - 58 Thus it was: but [in the course of time] We were to bestow all these [things] as a heritage on the children of Israel. 59 Pharaoh and his people pursued them at sunrise, 60 And when the two hosts saw each other, those with Moses said: Lo! we are indeed caught. 61 Musa said: by no means; verily with me is my Lord; He shall guide me. 62 We sent a revelation to Moses saying, "Strike the sea with your staff." The sea was rent asunder and each side stood high up like a huge mountain. 63 And We advanced thereto the pursuers. 64 We delivered Moses and all those who were with him, 65 then, We drowned the others. 66 In this there was certainly evidence (of the Truth), but most of them did not have any faith. 67 Your Lord is certainly Majestic and All-merciful. 68
