۞ And We sent the divine revelation to Moosa that, “Journey along with My bondmen within the night, for you will be pursued.” 52 And Pharaoh sent forth heralds to all the cities. 53 [bidding them to call out his troops and to proclaim:] "Behold, these [children of Israel] are but a contemptible band; 54 And verily they have enraged us. 55 and we are a host on our guard.' 56 We deprived them (the unbelievers) of gardens, springs, 57 and [deprived them of their erstwhile] station of honour!" 58 Even so. And We gave them as a heritage to the children of Israel. 59 But they pursued them at sunrise. 60 And when the two groups saw each other, those with Moosa said, “They have caught us.” 61 'No, indeed' he replied, 'my Lord is with me and He will guide me' 62 We commanded Moses: "Smite the sea with your staff." And it parted, and every parting was like a lofty mountain. 63 Then brought We near the others to that place. 64 We delivered Moses and all who were with him; 65 Then We drowned the others. 66 Surely there is a Sign in this, but most of them would not believe. 67 And indeed your Lord – only He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 68
