The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who hath created and then proportioned, 2 Who hath ordained laws. And granted guidance; 3 It is He who has caused the grass to grow, 4 then made it a blackening wrack. 5 We shall teach you (the Quran) and you will not forget it 6 Save that which Allah willeth. Lo! He knoweth the disclosed and that which still is hidden; 7 And We will make it easy for thee (to follow) the simple (Path). 8 Therefore give admonition in case the admonition profits (the hearer). 9 Those who fear will understand. 10 but the wretched will turn away from it. 11 and suffer the heat of the great fire 12 then he shall neither die therein, nor live. 13 To happiness [in the life to come] will indeed attain he who attains to purity [in this world,] 14 remember the name of the Lord, and pray to Him. 15 But rather you prefer the life of this world! 16 While the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 And this is in the Books of the earliest (Revelation),- 18 the Scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
