The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ Exalt the Name of your Lord, the Highest, 1 who creates [every thing,] and thereupon forms it in accordance with what it is meant to be, 2 who determined and guided, 3 who brings forth the pastures, 4 Then maketh it to stubble dusky. 5 We shall teach you (the Quran) and you will not forget it 6 Save that which Allah may will. Verily He knoweth the public and that which is hidden. 7 And We will ease you toward ease. 8 So render good counsel if good counsel will avail. 9 He who fears (Allah) shall heed it, 10 But it will be avoided by those most unfortunate ones, 11 He who will be flung to the great Fire 12 In which he will neither die nor live. 13 He who purifies himself, 14 And mentions the name of his Lord and prays. 15 Nay (behold), ye prefer the life of this world; 16 While the hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 This is surely in the earlier Books, 18 The scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
