1/2 Hizb 45

۞ But We shall say, "Assemble those who did wrong together with their associates and what they worshipped 22 besides God, and lead them to the path of the Fire; 23 "But stop them, verily they are to be questioned. 24 "'What is the matter with you that ye help not each other?'" 25 In fact this day they have all surrendered. 26 They will turn upon one another, and question one another. 27 They will say: "It was ye who used to come to us from the right hand (of power and authority)!" 28 They will say: “Nay, you yourselves were not the ones who would believe. 29 And we had over you no authority, but you were a transgressing people. 30 Now the Word of our Lord hath been fulfilled concerning us. Lo! we are about to taste (the doom). 31 “We therefore led you astray, for we ourselves were astray!” 32 Then verily, that Day, they will (all) share in the torment. 33 This is how We deal with the guilty. 34 Surely they used to behave proudly when it was said to them: There is no god but Allah; 35 And said: "Should we abandon our gods for the sake of an insane poet?" 36 Nay: he has come with the truth and verified the apostles. 37 (They will be told): “You shall taste the grievous chastisement. 38 And be rewarded but only for what you had done, 39 Save single-minded slaves of Allah; 40 For them is the sustenance known to Us. 41 fruits -- and they high-honoured 42 In Gardens of Delight. 43 Facing one another on thrones, 44 There will be circulated among them a cup [of wine] from a flowing spring, 45 White, delicious to the drinkers, 46 There shall be no trouble in it, nor shall they be exhausted therewith. 47 And with them shall be damsels of refraining looks, large-eyed 48 As if they were eggs carefully protected. 49 So one among them turns to the other, questioning. 50 A speaker from among them shall say: Surely I had a comrade of mine, 51 who used to ask, 'Do you really believe that 52 Shall we be recompensed for our deeds after we die and become bones and dust? 53 Do you want to see him?' " 54 Then, he will look and see him in the midst of Hell. 55 He said: "By Allah! thou wast little short of bringing me to perdition! 56 Had it not been for the grace of my Lord I too would have been there (in Hell). 57 Are we not then to die 58 except our first death, and shall we not be punished' 59 Verily, this - this indeed - is the triumph supreme!" 60 For the like of this, then, let the workers work. 61 Is that better by way of hospitality or the Zaqqum tree, 62 Lo! We have appointed it a torment for wrong-doers. 63 It is a tree that grows at the bottom of Hell. 64 The fruit thereof is as though the hoods of the serpents. 65 Truly, they will eat thereof and fill their bellies therewith. 66 And afterward, lo! thereupon they have a drink of boiling water 67 Then their return will be to the same blazing Hell. 68 Verily they found their fathers gone astray. 69 yet they run in their footsteps, 70 And assuredly many of the ancients went astray before them, 71 though We had sent warners among them. 72 Then look how was the end of those who were warned - 73 except for the chosen servants of Allah? 74

ColorfulQuran.com displays pages in one of three Arabic fonts. Each may appear with a one-third chance, adding more diversity to the already diverse colors. And the words remain unchanged forever. ColorfulQuran.com will have more beautiful fonts soon, God willing.
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
