So did you observe him who turned away? 33 and gives a little, grudgingly? 34 Or, does he possess knowledge of the Unseen, and can therefore see? 35 Or is he not informed with what is in the Pages (Scripture) of Musa (Moses), 36 And Abraham who paid his debt: 37 That no one who carries a burden bears another's load; 38 And that man hath only that for which he maketh effort, 39 And that his striving shall soon be seen- 40 Thereafter he shall be recompensed therefor with the fullest recompense. 41 And that the end is only towards your Lord? 42 And that He it is who maketh laugh, and maketh weep, 43 and that it is He who makes to die, and that makes to live, 44 and that it is He who created pairs, the male and the female, 45 from an ejected drop of sperm; 46 and that upon Him is the second creation 47 And that it is He Who has given wealth and contentment? 48 That He is the Lord of Sirius; 49 that it was He that destroyed ancient Aad 50 And Samood, so He spared not 51 And the people of Noah before. Indeed, it was they who were [even] more unjust and oppressing. 52 And He brought perdition upon the subverted cities 53 and then covered them from sight forever. 54 About which, then, of thy Sustainer's powers canst thou [still] remain in doubt? 55 This (Muhammad SAW) is a warner (Messenger) of the (series of) warners (Messengers) of old. 56 What is to come is imminent. 57 There shall be none besides Allah to remove it. 58 Do you then marvel at this discourse, 59 and do you laugh, and do you not weep, 60 While you are indulging in varieties. 61 Therefore prostrate for Allah, and worship Him.
