Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

And indeed We created towers in the skies, and beautified it for the beholders. 16 And We have protected it from every devil expelled [from the mercy of Allah] 17 Save him who stealeth the hearing, and him there followeth a flame gleaming. 18 And the earth -- We stretched it forth, and cast on it firm mountains, and We caused to grow therein of every thing justly weighed, 19 And we have given unto you livelihoods therein, and unto those for whom ye provide not. 20 And there is not a thing the treasure* of which is not with Us; and We do not send it down except by a known measure. (* The power to create it.) 21 And We send the winds fertilizing, then We send down water from the heaven and We give it to you to drink, and thereof ye could not be the treasurers. 22 It is indeed We Who grant life and cause death and it is We who shall be the sole Inheritors of all. 23 We know those who lived before you and those who will come after you. 24 Assuredly it is thy Lord Who will gather them together: for He is perfect in Wisdom and Knowledge. 25
