Al-Ma'aarej 2 of 2

Now what is the matter with the Unbelievers that they rush madly before thee- 36 [To sit] on [your] right and [your] left in separate groups? 37 Does every one of them aspire to be admitted into a Garden of Delight? 38 Not at all, for We have created them of what they know. 39 So I swear by the Lord of [all] risings and settings that indeed We are able 40 to substitute a better than they; We shall not be outstripped. 41 So leave them to plunge in vain talk and play about, until they encounter that Day of theirs which they have been promised!- 42 the Day when they rush out of their graves as if racing towards a signpost, 43 Downcast shall be their looks; abjectness shall overspread them. Such is the Day which they are promised. 44
