۞ The decree of God is at hand, so do not seek to hasten it. Holy is He, and exalted far above what they associate with Him. 1 He sendeth down the angels with the spirit by His command upon whomsoever of his bondmen He willeth: warn that there is no god but I, wherefore fear Me. 2 He has created the heavens and the earth for just ends: Far is He above having the partners they ascribe to Him! 3 He has created man from Nutfah (mixed drops of male and female sexual discharge), then behold, this same (man) becomes an open opponent. 4 And the grazing livestock He has created for you; in them is warmth and [numerous] benefits, and from them you eat. 5 And for you there is beauty in them as ye drive them at eventide and as ye drive them out to pasture. 6 And they carry your heavy loads to lands that ye could not (otherwise) reach except with souls distressed: for your Lord is indeed Most Kind, Most Merciful, 7 And horses and mules and asses (hath He created) that ye may ride them, and for ornament. And He createth that which ye know not. 8 And the middle path rightly leads to Allah – any other path is wayward; and had He willed He would have brought all of you upon guidance. 9
