Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat)
60 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Dunes (Al-Ahqaaf) before Overwhelming (Al-Ghaasheyah)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the dipersing winds that disperse. 1 And those [clouds] carrying a load [of water] 2 And (the ships) that float with ease and gentleness; 3 And those (angels) who distribute (provisions, rain, and other blessings) by (Allah's) Command; 4 Verily that which ye are promised is true; 5 And undoubtedly justice will surely be done. 6 And by oath of the decorated heaven. 7 Truly ye are in a doctrine discordant, 8 He is turned away from it who would be turned away. 9 Perish the conjecturers 10 Who are within a flood [of confusion] and heedless. 11 They ask: When is the day of judgment? 12 (It will be) a Day when they will be tried (i.e. burnt) over the Fire! 13 "Taste ye your trial! This is what ye used to ask to be hastened!" 14 Indeed the pious are among Gardens and water springs. 15 enjoying all that their Sustainer will have granted them [because,] verily, they were doers of good in the past: 16 They slept but a little at night, 17 and would ask for forgiveness at dawn, 18 and in their wealth was a share for whosoever asked and for whosoever was prevented. 19 There are signs in the earth for those who are firm in their faith, 20 And (also) in yourselves. Can ye then not see? 21 And in heaven is your provision and also what you are being promised. 22 By the Lord of the heaven and the earth, it is certainly the truth. It is as true as your ability to speak. 23

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
