We shall help Our Messengers and the believers, in this life and on the day when witness will come forward. 51 The day upon which their excuses will not benefit the evil-doers, and the condemnation and evil abode will be theirs. 52 We also gave Moses the guidance, and We bequeathed upon the Children of Israel the Book 53 as their inheritance and as a guide and a reminder to the people of understanding. 54 So be patient (O Muhammad SAW). Verily, the Promise of Allah is true, and ask forgiveness for your fault, and glorify the praises of your Lord in the Ashi (i.e. the time period after the midnoon till sunset) and in the Ibkar (i.e. the time period from early morning or sunrise till before midnoon) [it is said that, that means the five compulsory congregational Salat (prayers) or the 'Asr and Fajr prayers]. 55 Verily those who dispute regarding the Signs of Allah without any evidence that might have come to them, nothing but vain pride fills their hearts. Yet they shall never be able to satisfy the pride with which they are puffed up. So seek refuge with Allah. Verily He is All-Hearing, All-Seeing. 56 Assuredly the creation of the heavens and the earth is greater than the creation of mankind; but most of mankind know not. 57 And not equal are the blind and those who see, nor are (equal) those who believe (in the Oneness of Allah Islamic Monotheism), and do righteous good deeds, and those who do evil. Little do you remember! 58 Verily, the Last Hour is sure to come: of this there is no doubt; yet most men will not believe it. 59 And your Lord said: "Invoke Me, [i.e. believe in My Oneness (Islamic Monotheism)] (and ask Me for anything) I will respond to your (invocation). Verily! Those who scorn My worship [i.e. do not invoke Me, and do not believe in My Oneness, (Islamic Monotheism)] they will surely enter Hell in humiliation!" 60
