So I swear by what you see 38 And all that ye see not 39 That this is verily the word of an honoured Messenger [i.e. Jibrael (Gabriel) or Muhammad SAW which he has brought from Allah]. 40 it is not the word of a poet -- how little you believe! -- 41 Nor is it the speech of a soothsayer; how little do you ponder! 42 It has been revealed by the Lord of the Universe. 43 Had he invented against Us any sayings, 44 We would have seized him by the right hand; 45 And We should certainly then cut off the artery of his heart: 46 And there is no one of you who could prevent [Us] from him. 47 Surely it is a Reminder to the godfearing; 48 but We know that some of you will cry lies. 49 And most surely it is a great grief to the unbelievers. 50 And He, He is indeed the ultimate Reality. 51 Therefore-glorify the name of your Lord, the Great. 52
