The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ GLORIFY THE NAME of your Lord, most high, 1 Who creates, then makes complete, 2 who has ordained and guided, 3 And who brings out the pasture 4 Then maketh it to stubble dusky. 5 We shall make thee recite, to forget not 6 Except what Allah pleases, surely He knows the manifest, and what is hidden. 7 We shall make all your tasks easy. 8 REMIND, THEN, [others of the truth, regardless of] whether this reminding [would seem to] be of use [or not]: 9 Admonished is he indeed who feareth, 10 And the most unfortunate one will avoid it, 11 The one who will enter the biggest fire. 12 Wherein he shall neither die nor live, 13 He who purifies himself, 14 And who remembereth the name of his Lord, and then prayeth. 15 Nay, you prefer the life of this world; 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Lo! This is in the former scrolls. 18 the scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
