Al-Saaffaat 4 of 5
Verily We bestowed Our favours on Moses and Aaron 114 And We saved them and their people from the great affliction, 115 And We helped them, so they overcame (their troubles); 116 We gave them the enlightening Book, 117 And We guided them both on the right way. 118 And We kept their praise among the latter generations. 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 121 Indeed, they were of Our believing servants. 122 Verily Elias is one of the apostles. 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not be mindful of God? 124 "Will ye call upon Baal and forsake the Best of Creators,- 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 In response they denied him, so they will surely be brought forth as captives. 127 excepting only [those who were] God's true servants; 128 and him We left thus to be remembered among later generations: 129 Peace be upon Ilyas! 130 That is how We reward those who do good. 131 for he was truly one of Our believing servants! 132 And lo! Lot verily was of those sent (to warn). 133 When We rescued him and his entire household. 134 Save an old woman among the lingerers. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 And surely ye pass by them in the morning. 137 and at night, will you not understand? 138
