The Comet (Al-Taareq)
17 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the heaven, and the night-visitor, 1 How will you comprehend what the night star is? 2 The very brightly shining star! 3 [for] no human being has been left unguarded. 4 So let man see from what he is created! 5 He was created of spurting water 6 Emerging from between the backbone and the ribs. 7 Surely He (the Creator) has the power to bring him back (to life). 8 On the day when hidden things shall be made manifest, 9 (Man) will have no power, and no helper. 10 By oath of the sky from which comes down the rain. 11 and the replenishing earth, 12 Lo! this (Qur'an) is a conclusive word, 13 And it is no joke. 14 They are devising guile, 15 but I shall bring all their scheming to nought. 16 Therefore give them some respite give them some time. 17
Almighty God's Truth.
