We were indeed gracious to Moses and Aaron, 114 and We delivered both of them and their people from the great calamity. 115 And We supported them so it was they who overcame. 116 We gave them the enlightening Book, 117 guided them to the right path, 118 And We left for them [favorable mention] among later generations: 119 "Peace and salutation to Moses and Aaron!" 120 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 121 they were among Our believing servants. 122 So also was Elias among those sent (by Us). 123 Behold, he said to his people, "Will ye not fear (Allah)? 124 Would you call on Baal and leave the best of creators, 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 Then they belied him, so verily they are to be brought up. 127 Except the chosen creatures of God. 128 And We kept his praise among the latter generations. 129 Peace be with the followers of Elias. 130 Verily, thus do We reward the doers of good 131 he was among Our believing servants. 132 Verily Lot was one of the apostles, 133 Wherefore We saved him and his entire family 134 Save an old woman among those who stayed behind; 135 and then We utterly destroyed the others: 136 And indeed, you pass by them in the morning 137 and in the night; will you not understand? 138
