And assuredly unto the household of Fir'awn came the warning. 41 They denied Our signs, all of them, so We seized them with a seizure of one Exalted in Might and Perfect in Ability. 42 Are the unbelievers of yours better than these, or is there an exemption for you in the scriptures? 43 Or say they: We are a host victorious? 44 Soon shall this legion be routed and shall turn their backs and flee. 45 Surely the Hour will be the moment of their promise, and that moment will be calamitous and distressing. 46 Verily, the Mujrimun (polytheists, disbelievers, sinners, criminals, etc.) are in error (in this world) and will burn (in the Hell-fire in the Hereafter). 47 on the Day when they are dragged into the fire on their faces, it will be said to them, "Now feel the touch of Hell!" 48 We have indeed created all things by measure; 49 And Our Command is but a single (Act),- like the twinkling of an eye. 50 We have destroyed the likes of you; is there any that will remember? 51 And everything they have wrought is in the Writs. 52 everything, be it great or small, is recorded. 53 Surely the godfearing shall dwell amid gardens and a river 54 in a seat of truth, in the presence of a Sovereign who determines all things. 55
