The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Praise the name of thy Lord the Most High, 1 Who creates, then makes complete, 2 decreed their destinies, and provided them with guidance. 3 And Who brings forth herbage, 4 Then maketh it to stubble dusky. 5 We shall enable thee to recite, and then thou shalt not forget, 6 Except what Allah, may will, He knows what is apparent and what is hidden. 7 And We will make your way smooth to a state of ease. 8 Therefore, keep on preaching as long as it is of benefit. 9 Admonished is he indeed who feareth, 10 But the wretched one will avoid it - 11 he who [in the life to come] shall have to endure the great fire 12 Neither dying therein nor living. 13 Lasting happiness will be for those who purify themselves, 14 remembering his Lord's name and praying. 15 But no, you prefer the life of the world, 16 but the Everlasting Life is better, and more enduring. 17 Indeed, this is in the former scriptures, 18 the scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
