The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of thy Guardian-Lord Most High, 1 Who createth, then disposeth; 2 And who destined and [then] guided 3 Who brings out the pastures 4 Then turneth it to russet stubble. 5 We shall make you to recite (the Quran), so you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) shall not forget (it), 6 except whatever God wills; He knows both what is manifest and what is hidden -- 7 And We shall create the means of ease for you. 8 Therefore remind, if the Reminder profits, 9 and he who fears shall remember, 10 but the most wretched shall avoid it, 11 and suffer the heat of the great fire 12 Then he will neither die in it, nor live. 13 He who purifies himself, 14 remember the name of the Lord, and pray to Him. 15 But ye prefer the life of the world 16 even though the life hereafter will be better and will last forever. 17 Verily this is in Writs ancient 18 The scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
True are the words of God the Almighty.
