(People), is your creation harder for God than that of the heavens, which He created, raised and established 27 He raised its height, and He has equally ordered it, 28 He has made its nights dark and its days bright. 29 And after that He spread the earth, 30 and has caused its waters to come out of it, and its pastures, 31 And the mountains He set firmly 32 All this was done as a means of enjoyment for you and your cattle. 33 But when there comes the greatest catastrophe (i.e. the Day of Recompense, etc.), 34 On that day man will recall all what he strove for. 35 And the hell shall be made manifest to him who sees 36 For, unto him who shall have transgressed the bounds of what is right, 37 preferring the present life, 38 hell will be their dwelling. 39 but one who fears to stand before his Lord and restrained himself from base desires, 40 surely Paradise shall be the refuge. 41 They ask you about the Hour: “When will it be?” 42 (Muhammad), you do not know (when and how) it will come. 43 Its final end is for your Lord. 44 Thou art only the warner of him who fears it. 45 It will be, on the Day they see it, as though they had not remained [in the world] except for an afternoon or a morning thereof. 46
