The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ When the Occurrence occurs, 1 no soul will deny its coming. 2 (a calamitous Event) that shall turn things upside down: 3 This will happen when the earth is shaken, shaken 4 and the mountains crumbled 5 So they will become like fine dust, scattered in a shaft of light. 6 And ye are classes three. 7 The people of the right hand - those whose books of records will be placed in their right hands. How happy they will be! 8 And (as to) the companions of the left hand; how wretched are the companions of the left hand! 9 And the foremost are the foremost, 10 Those are they who will be brought nigh 11 in the Gardens of Delight, 12 a good many of those of olden times, 13 And a few from the latter. 14 On couches wrought of gold, 15 they shall recline, facing each other, 16 They will be served by immortal boys, 17 Cups and decanters, beakers full of sparkling wine, 18 neither causing headaches, nor intoxication; 19 with fruits of their own choice 20 And meat of birds that they may wish. 21 And [for them are] fair women with large, [beautiful] eyes, 22 The likes unto pearls hidden. 23 a recompense for that they laboured. 24 Therein they hear no vain or sinful discourse. 25 only the words of peace and tranquillity. 26 As for the people of the right hand, how happy they will be! 27 (They will be) among Lote-trees without thorns, 28 Among Talh trees with flowers (or fruits) piled one above another,- 29 In shade long-extended, 30 And in perpetually flowing water. 31 And fruit abundant. 32 Whose season is not limited, nor (supply) forbidden, 33 And maidens incomparable. 34 We have indeed developed these women with an excellent development. 35 and made them virgins, 36 loving and of equal age. 37 For the Companions of the Right Hand. 38

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
