I do not need to swear by what you see 38 And what you do not see, 39 because the Quran is certainly the word of a reverent messenger. 40 and is not - however little you may [be prepared to] believe it - the word of a poet; 41 Nor is it the speech of a sooth-sayer. Little are ye admonished. 42 [it is] a revelation from the Sustainer of all the worlds. 43 Now if he [whom We have entrusted with it] had dared to attribute some [of his own] sayings unto Us, 44 We surely should have seized him by his right hand (or with power and might), 45 then, We would surely have cut from him the aorta (vein) 46 Nor could any of you withhold him (from Our wrath). 47 And most surely it is a reminder for those who guard (against evil). 48 And verily We! We know that some among you are beliers thereof. 49 Surely it is a sorrow to the unbelievers; 50 yet it is a certain truth. 51 Therefore-glorify the name of your Lord, the Great. 52
